PLCE STANDARD

Personal Load Carrying Equipment (P.L.C.E.) is the current tactical webbing system of the British Army. It consists of a belt, yoke (shoulder harness) and a number of pouches.

While vests and chest rigs may be more suitable for mechanised infantry and urban operations, the load-carrying ability of P.L.C.E. makes it well suited to conventional dismounted warfare. P.L.C.E. sets are also popular with cadets and airsofters as the modular style allows them to spread the cost and tailor the system to their needs.

Constructed from super durable XTP 1000 Denier polyurethane coated polyester fabric with Duraflex branded plastic accessories. Added security is provided by durable military style soft rip Velcro with covering patch for silent use. Also includes heavy-duty durable P.L.C.E. clips, versatile belt loops and nonreflective poppers, Infra Red Reduction coated.

These pouches use the standard quick release buckles seen on most rucksacks. Although quick to open and easy to replace, they can be difficult to close with one hand.
